They say people are almost halfway, size-wise, between an atom and a star. Of course, thanks to the anthropic principle it will always seem like we're at the exact center of the universe no matter how we look at it... not to say that it isn't true.
Be serene with your mania - just let it come slow and easy until it gets too much to handle. The less conscious intention you insert into it the less chance of a spike you'll have. At least you're old and wise enough to know when to shut the door on the gibbering monkey: he's got bright and shiny presents but the bastard has absolutely no common sense.

Serenity I got, my son. Not manic - I wrote that Mania piece a long time ago. I'm riding the thin blue euthymic line, living on the narrow road and occasionally getting overstimulated going to malls and such... 600 mgs Seroquel has a tendency to knock the crap out of any dangerous mania, let me tell you. But thanks for your concern, my boy,
Dad

They gave me seroquil a while back for panic attacks. I found the sensation exactly like getting an icepick jabbed in between your eyes, except without any pain. I wasn't on it for too long hehe.

mmm, yeah, the old Serotonin queller - Seroquel - takes some gettin used to. Headaches, dry mouth, dizzy drunk or stoned feeling, a stupidizing drug if there ever was one, but you can acclimatize. I did, and beginning to appreciate the multi-faceted qualities of the shit. It's all I'm on for bipolar now, first time I've ever been on just one med,
cheerio,
